Just a few comments.

Background - 8 ghin, so so putter, run hot and cold, mostly cold. Previous putters from latest, to....Ghost Spider, Backstryke, Red X 5, numerous Yes models with Natalie being the favorite. Generally back weight all of them with 75 grams or more.

When I get ticked off I go out an buy a "remedy." The Dead Aim being one of them. This is a 35" model and I also purchased the laser attachment. Been using it for close to a month and do believe I have improved my alignment and where my eyes need to be over the ball. It really does point out your weaknesses in your set up and have used the laser frequently indoors. Outdoors it can be used but I find it easier at home.

Actually have played with it numerous rounds and find I am putting as well or maybe a little better than with the Ghost, although this comes and goes and I really don't keep my stats for any references (stupid, I know). But I have found I have to change my set up with the Ghost to get my eyes in the proper location. Several of my friends have also used it and noted that their set ups need to change - but few have!

As a putter and not a training device I would say it does the job but lacks a bit of feel and the roll is not as good as the Ghost. Have been changing the ball position in my stance and that does seem to help but still not as good as I would like. I also will be adding a backweight soon to see if that will help.

As a training device I would recommend it to someone with directional issues. Wish the laser had an on/off switch that could be utilized for a quick check once aimed; needs a switch to attach to the putter to click on and off rather than at the laser itself.

For what it is worth....

I've got one coming this week and I'm excited to try it out. Here's a video that shows how it works, I think it's a really clever design. http://www.clubmaker-online.com/deadaim.html

I spoke to Charlie Badami the inventor and it has a lot of promise. Like to hear your opinion John M.

Charlie has been a member of my clubmaking group Shoptalk for some time and he told me about the putter maybe 6 months ago. My demo Dead Aim putter and laser training tool should be here by the end of the week. The training laser is cool, simply installs on the top of the putter head, perfectly aligned. I think it will make a great practice aid indoors this winter, too.

I had a ghost spider. No issues with alignment. Once I figured out to use the line for aiming and the semi circle to frame the ball. Best putter I have owned.

That's very cool! Do they install their shafts correctly?
