I heard this on the radio when it broke.
Essentially they must think Petit is a liar to think Clemen's isn't guilty.

Actually I think McNamee was the "star" witness with credibility problems the case hinged on.

I don't know how your legal system works but here it is innocent until proven guilty.
And I agree that our congress and legal system has more important things to do than waste millions on petty crap like this.
