Very bad putt Graham hit on the 18, total misread, very surprised on that.
Couldn't believe that Jim actually hit a shank out of the bunker on the 72 hole, he really lost it on the last 3 holes.
I thought that was a shank too!

Sorry I missed you, but then again, maybe I didn't? I was at the 18th green most of the time, but did get out to the landing area on 9 and a couple other spots. Saw the great 2nd shot on 9 by Oreo Kukido (or maybe his name is Ishakawa). I agree on your assessment of the course, but it's typical of the Bay Area. Lush grass, lots of trees and not a level lie in sight. Fun to be there, but 3 hours of freeway crawling, each way, to drive between two places that are only about 20 miles apart pretty much did 'er in for me - no more Opens in the Bay Area for this kid.

Yep, with where we came from it was 4 hours to get there and 3 1/2 to get home. Left at 3:45 am and didn't get home till almost midnight. Fun to do once though!

it was a half buried lie and he's trying to make it, I think he should get a pass on the hosel rocket
It looked like the normal trajectory of my buried lie bunker shots...I thought that's how it was supposed to be done.
