Yes...Mr. B.

Orange and White for you Chevy people! `1969 Z-28 Camarro inspired!

...and Metallic Grey and Black for you Ford people!

(although...I might as well tell you i am having a Navy Blue w/wht stripes made up..just to look at for Ford Shelby people) Inspired!

I am leaning toward Grey/Black.....but might make up a very limited run of Shelby Navy Blue/wht stripes.!

In this case, I may have to turn FORD.

Maybe not!

The heavier head idea was done by TourSwing back in 2004 with the "Octane". It came in between 204-206 gms and did really well...the new driver (coming out) is also running the same weight.

The LD guys liked the heavier weight...but bear in mind, if you go this route, re-shafting the new head on your existing shaft will most likely not work well. It will decrease your shaft flex substantially.

Before $hit hits the fan, I will "kindly" say this:

This thread is ALL about the new Geek driver head, not about Tour Swing's new head.

Please refrain from bringing any of your "bone-rs" from GBT to this site!!!

I'm not taking sides as I've bought everything out there; just sick & tired of all the crap that goes back/forth with some distributors, to the point I've put some on my personal 'BANNED to buy from' list!!!

Since i'm a Ford man, I'll order the first available option of either black and gray or blue and white. I can't wait for this head.

I hope its here before my August 8th golf trip.

Is there a suggested shaft weight/length that would be lighter/longer to work with this head? Or are you suggesting a heavier shaft that's shorter?

I love the heavier weight personally. That's me, but I don't need light and long, I need control and long. To me it makes sense and I already like it so why not?

Lighter head didn't work to well for me. Never tried anything heavier than a typical 200g head, looking forward to the No Brainer!

Since you brought it up, let's see who has a better reason for a "personal banned to buy from list."

Mine is headed by the very brand originally addressed in this thread.

After four emails were ignored to owner with questions including warranty issues, this brand has been removed from my bag and those of three others. (Good luck sdandrea1 on getting a commission check.)

Sad but true from one who professes superior customer service.

This same designer also used to thread jack often, here and on other sights. It may still happen elsewhere but I only hang out here now. When threads would pop up about their fromer employer, he would jump in and start ranting about his personal experience, their ownership, products and marketing claims.

By comparison, Mike Tait always responded to my emails whether we agreed or disagreed on a topic.

That's my thread jack and all I have to say about that.
