Update. This is not the easiest thing I have done. I looked up the withdrawal symptoms and I have had most if not all. Cravings, weird dreams, headaches ( I knew I would get those) and feeling like I have the flu.

I am still going strong, knowing.....hoping these affects will go away soon.

Sounds like you already have excuses for our round of golf on Sunday

Good luck and be strong, you will endure

LOL! I was thinkin' the same thing!

Great minds think alike

Number one, it would take both your feeble minds to equal a "decent" one, let alone a great one......and I will be bringing my "A" game Sunday...I would say at the highest a 76! Yes, you heard it, 76, no higher! I might just post a personal best!

Wow another side effect....being delirious

"Pop" is a midwest thing as far as I know. I see it refered to that way in Lincoln and Chicago. Here in Texas they wouldn't know what you were talking about.

I'm a Diet Coke guy myself but I usually have one can a day. I can't drink the 16 oz bottles any more. Real Coke is too sweet for me now.

My Pennsylvania cousins use the term 'pop' as well. Seeing it here brought back some nice memories - summers in Spangler PA.

Very cool map and baaabers comment was not that funny.

I will now proceed to beat him by at least 6 strokes ( never mind, that's normal) 10 strokes on Sunday! Now were talking!

Beat him like a rented mule, RT!

Back on message, since I got off the 2-3 cokes a day habit, I get heartburn maybe twice a year, and I have to really work at it.

This is quite an image. I always knew I lived on the edge but have never seen statistical proof.

From ages 0-22: Pop

Moved south 200 miles: Soda

Amazing!

The map explains allot. Growing up in a Coke region, moving to a Pop, then to a Soda region and now in a Pop/Coke region. Heck, I just call it a Dr.Pepper now as that is all I USED to drink. This is the 8th day or first day of the second week, still no Pop, Coke or Soda!

I've been in 'soda' territory most of my life, so naturally that is the term I use. Was with a lot of 'pop' guys in college though.

The results down the line should be great - that was a lot of sugar you were drinking. I cut out most caffeine several years ago because of sleep issues - soda pretty much went with it. Rarely crave one anymore - once its 'done', you're good.

And as long as Baaab carries that prissy 7 wood, he's got a chance! If he ever gets rid of that thing I have dibs on its final destruction
