I decided I could give it a try for saving $2100. That is a lot of deniros no matter how you look at it . I bought the unit from Ingrams on line and found out they have a wharehouse downtown, how convenient. The owner had it here in Clarksville the next day, after I ordered it. I now have the new unit sitting on the pad, and just got done putting the fence back up to get it in the back yard. It is a 15 seer 3 ton package unit I picked up for $2600 before tax, not bad at all. Next is fitting the duct work, then doing the power, then the gas line, then the thermostat, and ......

I finally got it running and ducted in. The wiring was the easy part. The gas lines were awful, a real pain, but second to the duct work. The duct work took 5 hours and two people, just unreal. It just would not cooperate. The new unit is so quiet, and the electronics are state of the art, really nice. Going from probably a 7 seer system to a 15 seer, nice, come on summer, I am ready now .
