Well, today was "moving day," as they say, and Tiger did some moving, all right.

fowler is in a good position going into sunday. All he needs is another low round and the leaders to feel the pressure and lose some ground.

ORIGINAL: golfisa4letterword go Spencer! I can't see Spencer getting any more lucky Sunday than he did Saturday. It will be interesting to see who comes through to finish this.

That may be but he hasn't been lucky all 3 days. He has played well. Just like Jason Dufner and Rickie Fowler had to take their lumps on Sunday a few times Spencer has laid a few final round eggs in his career. But at some point these guys (some, not all) figure it out and get over the hump. You never know, today could be the day he figures it out. One things for sure, a 70 would pretty much put everybody but Sabbatini out of it. That would mean Tiger would need a 66 just to get to a playoff. The way this course is playing I just don't see it. Fowler would need a 67 for a playoff. I would put that at the outer edge of possible today. Of course if Spencer goes backwards, its just a question of how far and then anything is possible. Note: It looks like there has only been 2 scores better than 68 posted all week. Stallings shot a 66 in the first round and Erik Compton shot 67 on Thursday as well. Scores so far today of those on course not about the same or worse as has been done all week. Camilo Villegas finished his tournament +15!

Personally I like courses that are set up like this. Winning scores of 20 under aren't exciting to me, although for sure more players have a chance on the final day on courses like that. You are right in the assessment that realistically only a handful of guys have a shot at winning today. I guess I'm pulling for Fowler. PM
