Sorry to hear that Cutter.....wishing you a speedy recovery!

My wife is 3 weeks after her spinal fusion....she's back to most normal activities, but still a way off from everything. But.......all is well, and hope it goes as well for you.

Hey, coach said something funny.

Yeah, while recovering you might as well build lots of clubs!

Let's all hope that our fellow FGI bretheran recovers...

and again...

quote:

The word spondylolisthesis derives from two parts - spondylo which means spine, and listhesis which means slippage. So, a spondylolisthesis is a forward slip of one vertebra (i.e., one of the 33 bones of the spinal column) relative to another. Spondylolisthesis usually occurs towards the base of your spine in the lumbar area.

Spondylolisthesis can be described according to its degree of severity. One commonly used description grades spondylolisthesis, with grade 1 being least advanced, and grade 5 being most advanced. The spondylolisthesis is graded by measuring how much of a vertebral body has slipped forward over the body beneath it.

Best wishes - I had lumbar surgery (discectomy, not fusion) in '07. Return to golf was 3 months. Just do what the doctors and phys therapists say and you'll probably recover on schedule. I'll add ya to my prayers.

BTW - I bought a ton of golf stuff during the 3 month recovery, so save up!

Yeah, I'm still looking, even tho I'm on the bench right now. It's a 6 month process, gotta give the bones time to fuse properly. I appreciate being on the prayer list

I highly recommend they use Brampton's for the fusion; stays put, never comes loose!!

BTW....I'd think you would not want all that 'unnecessary', 'unusable', stuff, just laying around while you recuperate. So.....should we expect a sale soon??????

Heal well/heal fast, Paul!!

I am bring half the shop w/me, just to make sure it gets done right

Good luck, Cutter! Is that your surgeon's screen name too?

It has been brought to my attention my last name would be perfect for a surgeon (Cutright). Or a wax paper
