...in the theater? My girlfriend had never seen this film start to finish all the way through and we were both blown away by seeing on the big screen. And I don't mean the 70" TV either.

It's my favorite movie and I've seen it probably 500 times, but seeing it the same way my folks were able to was absolutely amazing. I personally wish there was a theater in town that would show the old films as well as the new. Ahh well...those days are gone I suppose.

One of the greatest. Haven't seen it on the big screen, though. Sounds like fun.

It was. @ Mcavoy...unfortunately no. it was a 1 night only thing. just happened ot come across it because i "liked" the film on Facebook.

My wife and I went to the 70th Anniv showing. It was our first time seeing it on the big screen since when we were dating 18 years ago. Awesome as usual. I hadn't seen it in a few years, I forgot how funny it is. Our wedding song was the Dooley Wilson version of As Time Goes By.

Saw it in a double feature with Maltese Falcon at the Varsity here in Austin a long time ago. Great in a real theater. I think the Paramount must play it every summer here too.

I didn't even know about it!

I have the special edition VHS, but never upgraded to digital media. I doubt I can get the SWMBO to watch it though - as soon as she sees black-n-white she tunes out, LOL.
