If you are really getting dehydrated, your urine becomes more and more concentrated. Urine is filtered from excess fluids in your bloodstream; if you get dry enough you stop making urine. My argument stems from two points: 1) if you are dehydrating, your urine becomes concentrated and sparse. Where's the liquid coming from to make more urine? Each time you make more it will be sparser and more concentrated, and therefore worse and worse for solving your problem because the amount of free water in the urine gets smaller and smaller, and 2) if you are really dehydrated enough that you might die from dehydration, your kidney will stop making urine altogether. It will completely shut down. When that happens, you obviously can't rehydrate yourself with urine that doesn't exist.

Sceptics have even poured cold water on the theory that it can save lives on the high seas or frozen mountain tops. They say that the concentration of nutrients such as sodium will take more water to get rid of than is present in urine - meaning it will dehydrate you rather than helping to keep you hydrated.
Helen Andrews, of the British Dietetic Association, said: "There are no health benefits to drinking your own urine, and in fact I think it could be quite detrimental. Each time you put it back it will come out again even more concentrated and that is not good for health as it could damage the gut. If you are stranded, your body will try to conserve as much water as it can. Drinking your urine would be like drinking seawater."
Bear Grylls notwithstanding......

I was actually joking about the Bear Grylls things. He does it more for shock value I'm sure, like the time he ate bear crap for the moisture in it.
That being said, I'd probably die of dehydration before drinking my urine.
