Vilma is lucky, he should go to trial, I am pretty sure there is a law against what he did.......

they're being made examples of but this type of stuff is rampant in the NFL... 10gs is chump change for these guys, like lunch for us. They were given a warning by the NFL and continued to do the bounty thing...
D-men are trying to knock people OUT, whether the "reward" among each other is a high-five or 10gs...

Agree with your point, I will add that game balls are rewarded for game changing plays (including hits) starting as early as Pee Wee leagues.
Truly believe that the NFL response is due to the lawsuits against the league for concussions.

this goes beyong hard hits though and concussion science.
this is about any injury, knees shoulder ribs, bone breaking, potentially career ending, certainly playoff changing, "longest yard" type injuries.
the Players association has no leg to stand on as the people who are being protected are the players themsleves! Silly to even complain about it IMO
what's next? a bookie makes a deal with players to pay for knocking guys out to beat odds and we approve of that as well?
