Heard that strong winds ravaged the St.Loius area...

Not an alarmest...just a carest!

Too many good Buds not to inquire.

Scary big hail. I should have taken pictures, but was too busy checking up on the GF. The mall made them all get into a storm shelter, so she was safe.

My windshield was shattered while I was driving - freaked me right out. Luckily I was about 200 feet from getting home - and unlucky that I was 200 feet from being safe in the garage when it all happened

My patio table had half of its ceramic tiles shattered out. Trees had their leaves ripped off of them - the roads are green with the debris.

Just had a roof put on about 7 years ago due to hail damage - this storm was worse, so I expect new damage may have been done. The insurance companies are going to be busy Monday. As are the vultures that want all the repair jobs. I'll start an over and under on how many knock on my door this week

We were headed in from fishing west of the city when it hit. Watched the wall cloud moving across the area and traveled thru the back edge of the storm.
We were fortunate with no hail damage. We heard about the devastation at Busch Stadium as we were driving.
Got into the garage as the tornado sirens started.

All safe but still drying out this morning.

Crazy S**T!

I was on a golf course in O'Fallon when it hit. Got my a$$ off and home as quick as possible. Hail about golfball size. Winds blew over a couple powerlines too. Tornado sirens went off just I got home.

Everything appears to be OK. But I'll have to give it a better look once this settles down. More to come according to the weatheman...

Off subject but do any St Louis area FGIers ever get together to play?

Yep! There are a few of us that get out from time to time. I see you're in the area, give Hicks or myself a shout and we'll try to get out!

Good to hear You and Yours are OK other than the windshield.

Ugh - more damage than I thought. The hood and trunk lid of the car are pock-marked, and some flashing/siding came off (which you can see some of in the last pic).

Not as scary as it happening when you're driving - but here are the pics....

Oh - and already had my first visit by a repair crew. Many more to come I'm sure.... the over and under begins

Sorry to see so much damage Hobbit, but happy to learn that everyone seems to be ok.
Make sure they fit new panels to your car btw rather than just trying to fill and sand.
Guess you probably knew that anyway.
