well i guess its time to look at hybrids above 26*,by that i mean above 26* like 29* . To much age and pain and bad knee, taking its revenge on my many years of playing. I can still put a pretty good swing on a hybrid so i want to try out some higher lofted hybrids, have you found any that get some decent spin more like a iron, to stick on the green with a proV1. Trying to replace my 6 and 7 irons. Too much pain in my hands. to hit down on the ball so I am going to stick with my sweepier swing, plus it works great with my longer hybrids.

What is purpose?

If straight and just straight, NIKE CPR.

If working the ball, not NIKE CPR.

I just purchased a set of Dynacraft Avatar Evolutions 3-AW. As a 60 yr. old with arthritis in the wrists, I am very pleased.

I think if you're speaking about replacing the 6i and 7i, it would be designated "below" the 26* hybrid...

BUT, anyway, although I don't go below the 26*, I am partial to the Cobra TWS hybrids...work well for me...I can draw them or fade them if I try, but I also try to leave myself with a straight shot for which they work wonderfully.

Power Play Select 5000. Unlike other high lofted hybrids I've tried, they don't have so much offset that they look funky at address, and even the PW doesn't go so high as to be useless into the wind. Very solid and durable hybrids at a bargain price.

I have the Taylor Made Superfast Burner 2.0 6 hybrid in the bag as well as the 5 and 3 hybrid. These clubs are money for me. Hit the ball high and land soft. They have a bit of a draw bias, but if you have a slow swing, good tempo like mine, they would fit the bill. Plus they have been on sale for the last 6 months. These hybrids have totally changed how I play the game.

I have a Innovex 30* (6H) that I have hit some pretty amazing shots with. I remember once I had a 180 yard approach to a back pin location with water behind the green a hit an almost wedge like shot that spun back one foot from the cup. The guys I was playing all asked what the h**l did I hit? I still pull 'em out here and there. I've got the set 3H-6H. Bobby Jones workshop 6H, also 30* is also an amazing stick. Effortless height and length that stopn dead on the green. Just a little too closed face for me.

You could also look at the Adams I-Tech V3's. My whole bag has pretty much switched to Adams. I play the A7's with graphite shafts. Great clubs and easy on the hands.

I'm 42 and can't hit a 5 iron - have not had one in my bag in 10 years. 6 iron and up is GREAT! Mental or not, don't care. So, my weapon of choice is the one that's been in my bag the longest (and that is saying plenty). Infinity KO Hybrid w/ IROD regular tipped .5. I play it from 180-190 ALL DAY if necessary.
