Yes, I have a few predictions.

1) Every Eagle fan in the hall will jeer their first pick.

2) Chris Berman won't shut up.

3) Goodell will slaughter some kid's name.

4) I won't be watching.

A lot of teams will trade back in the 1st round.

With Luck and RG3 going 1 and 2, the 3rd pick is the defacto #1 pick since we don't know what the Vikings will do.

I'm interested to see if the rookie wage scale encourages trading. I was hoping for less certainty at the #1 and #2 spots for this reason alone, but I'm hopeful that over the years top picks will truly be as valuable to a team like the Rams or the Vikings as they should be. In the past they almost had no choice but to use the pick, it was nearly untradeable. With the rookie wage scale I'm hoping to see some real movin' and shakin'.

Rams are sitting pretty with 3 picks in the top 35.

The Rams aren't a good example this year - I was referring to the Rams who spent so long at #1 the Beatles were getting jealous. What I meant was teams that now want to take a crack at trading up for that franchise QB can do it because they won't have to give him $20 million a year out of the gate, and the teams at the top can have some real offers to explore.

Claiborne, great move up and pick by the Boys, have really improved their secondary. I like.

True they helped fill one hole on the team hopefully, but so many other holes I see more mediocrity for at least another year.

I boldly predict that someone at work tomorrow will ask "What the *&$# was he thinking?" only to be drowned out by the mantra of the Pats faithful "In Bill we trust....in Bill we trust...."

(Most likely because he'll use a draft pick on an OL player and trade down with the other pick, at least if he holds his usual form...)
