I'm reshafting an old Callaway Great Big Bertha driver and I'm looking for any helpful tips. To me, the old Callaway drivers are a pain to reshaft with basically no hosel, they're bore thru design, angle trimming the tip of the shaft for a smooth fit with the sole, and using a shaft plug for the tip of the shaft. Any helpful tips for: 1. Angle cutting the shaft tip for a smooth fit on the sole of the head? 2. Do you use quick setting epoxy for the shaft tip plug? 3. Do you use quick setting epoxy so it doesn't drip out thru the bore thru? I've reshafted old Callys before, but when finished, they never look as professional as I would like..... Any tips would be aprreciated. Thanks, Wendell

some times i will insert the shaft then scribe around the shaft and sand to the line then glue in the plug with guick set cut off and file flush now epoxy in the head just below flush this avoids sanding marks on the sole. most of the time i will epoxy the shaft 1\4 below the sole after after the epoxy sets clamp in vice level and fill with j b weld it will settle in to a nice concave finish saving any hand finishing
