Tiger MAY be back though I don't think anything has changed after the win, except in his confidence. Not much has changed because honestly, he played a second string field, on a course he could play blind folded. Look at his figures, I don't remember and could be wrong, I don't think he shot any thing much under the 70's each day. I think I'll wait a little while

You're not allowed to say that in here!!!

It's not TW's fault that pro golfers won't challenge him on his 'home' course.

He Does care about being #1, because that will mean hes winning Majors
Check mate

Luke Donald is #1 right now and - as you've pointed out here - has not won a major. What time do you start drinking in the morning?

Remember TW does have a monster ego and wants to be #1, His entire life he's always been #1 when it comes to golf and i'm sure he wants that title back!

quite possible, but i just don't think the #1 matters all that much to him. winning tournaments and majors are his priority and if he starts doing that regularly he knows the ranking will take care of itself. its a secondary concern to him, not a primary one, IMO.

Ya wanna see someone playing a 'weak field/second string field'......turn on the Shell Houston Open!! This guy(Phil) plays like crap the last 2 weeks and all of a sudden....BLAMO....he's great today!! That's not courses for horses either........as example, just look at how good Tommy 2 Gloves is playing and he's missed every cut in 9 tourneys this year.

Phil has a first and second so far this year and I believe he is the defending champion there.

Point is??
(I can see why Phil is defending champion there)

This thread is about Tiger bashing, or so it seems. He also has a 1st & 2nd this year and is accused of 'picking' courses/fields. This field is $hit compared to the one he beat last week.
