Kind of interesting!
He's leading/running away from the field by 4 strokes, hitting fairways and greens, and actually making some putts!
So is everyone just waiting for him to fall on his face again?

He's starting to look like the old Tiger to me and I'd be very surprised if he doesn't win at Arnie's place tomorrow...which bodes well for him going into The Masters!

LOL just after I post how good he's striking the ball,Tiger hits a major snap hook off the tee on 15 that goes OB and close to landing someone's swimming pool!

I guess he just got the dreaded FGI jinx!

Yup - double bogey his way down to a 1 stroke lead. His stats with the 54 hole lead are incredible, tho. If he's in the last group tomorrow, he could be headed for his 1st 'official' event win in MANY years.

Tomorrow will mark the most important round for Tiger 2.0 he has had to date. He is in a position (54 hole lead) where he was all but impenetrable prior to 2009. If he is able to close things out tomorrow he would obviously be a favorite at Augusta. If he doesn't he will still be a favorite to contend at Augusta but a win would likely boost the confidence level sky high. I don't have any predictions but will be interested to watch. But he needs something we haven't seen much of except for the Honda - a strong Sunday round. I give him a 50-50 shot.

I think this week is a case of "horses for courses".
He is a Top 10 contender at Augusta but not going to win it.

Tiger has played pretty well, got a few lucky breaks on those pulled shots on the par 5's that just missed getting wet....but you got to be good to be lucky ...or so they say.

it's too bad Rory and Luke decided not to play...only 2 of the top 10 of the worlds best here.....

Tiger pretty much owns this course and as Spuzz said it's a venue that he always plays well at so I don't expect him to back up and lose this tomorrow.....

a win for Tiger will also deflect some of the attention away from Haney's book release and I think he knows that.......he has played pretty well recently so a win is not surprising

Agree with Weirfan......I would love to see him not win but his short game is really coming around, at least for the first 3 days and his ball striking has been solid for a while.

it will be interesting to see if he shoots a good round to get the win. I have no idea which tiger shows up tomorrow.
