Yeah the Caiman Raw Power X2 I have not really been able to measure the length on it yet but it is dead straight.

Will do I ordered an idrive to go with it but I really like the Cadence Red Fairway that I reshafted my 915F/H clubs with decisions decisions.

Not yet shaft should be in Monday. I was going with the iDrive but decided against and going with AXE Tour fairway shaft I put one in my X2 Raw Power wood and the thing is absolutely fantastic so decided to go that route. I should be able to at least get a range session in before next weekend.

Any update on anyone who has tried these?

I ordered one from Hireko with the standard Acer Velocity Graphite Shaft..and I have to say...I REALLY LIKE THIS CLUB.

It is hard for me to believe at under $35.00, what a Solid Feeling Hybrid this is with just the trajectory I was looking for.
I have been thru probably 4-5 different combinations of Component Heads and Shafts trying to find the replacement for my 5-iron....and with the Acer XDS React/Velocity Shaft combo....I found it!

Well weather was horrible this morning so did not have opportunity for real test results wind was about 15-25 so yeah crappy day at the course. Weather cleared up later on and took it out to the range very easy to hit got the ball up quick and it seemed to float down to the ground can't give any distances due to the wind earlier and the range balls this afternoon. I am not sure what to make of the rails yet to me it feels like I am not able to hit my normal draw with it the rails seem to hit the ground and straighten out the clubface and end up with a straight shot with a hint of a fade every now and then.

For those interested in these...here's my mini range report from yesterday.

Just finished building an 18* Machete and a 23* XDS React Hybrid, both with the Integra iDrive shaft, flex is firmish. Tacki Mac grips.

First up, the 23* hybrid. This thing rocks! Have been gaming the Nike CPR3 hybrids which are good but require a deft touch to get the kind of shot I want. Over or under swing and they get a bit wild. The React hybrid was no longer than its Nike counterpart. But where it shines is is ease of use. M-MUCH easier hit, great feel and sound. This is a keeper and I hope to add 1 or 2 more to the bag soon.

As to the 18* Machete, I'm less sure about it. I'm not a great fairway wood player but had hopes that this one would help. First, it's easy to hit, easier than the Hagen 3 wood that I currently have in the bag. That being said, I was disappointed in the distance. For reasons that aren't clear it was flying the same distance as the 23* hybrid. Feel is good, sound is more muted than the hybrid, it flies straight as an arrow. Distance is probably due to my swing and overall inability to hit fairway woods. I may give it another test, but I'm leaning toward the 20* hybrid instead based upon experience with the 23* and giving up on my fairway wood dreams, or trying to find a 15-18 degree hybrid head.
