Tanner Gayton is also in group 8. He is one of the A/Pros from my home course in Nova Scotia.

ESPN3 live on the 4th, IIRC. Check the link, it gives the full schedules and TV times/days.

Which head and shaft companies are being used the most?

I'm assuming Geek and HOF are well represented??

Krank is by far the most used, probably followed by Geek in second. Other heads in somewhat heavy use include Alpha, Ares, Adams and MOI. There would be a few other companies represented but not with a large number of hitters.

Shafts are still dominated by HOF. Aldila has a built a strong following and then there would again be a bunch of other companies like UST, LDC, Graphite Design, Fujikara...

Tanner qualified in the same event that I did in Truro - I'm from Halifax. I guess a few guys from the club are going up with him.

I glad we could travel so far to hit in the same group.

It's blowing over 30mph here in St.George,so I imagine it must be REALLY gusty down there on the soccer fields in Mesquite.

Which brings up the question: Why have the finals so late in the year, when the weather is usually pretty crappy there?

My understanding is that it is not the LDA's choice. It is the Las Vegas Convention Bureau or something like that that makes the final decision on the dates.
