The Harrison Shotmaker: SHOTMAKER

It's basically a shaft insert that helps to stabilize the tip section of a graphite shaft.
At first I was thinking it was just ANOTHER marketing BS gimmick, but with a 30 day money back guarantee,I figured what's to lose?

So after a couple rounds in my K-15 w/ Saga (S) flex,I can honestly say I've noticed a big improvement in fairways hit!
Seems like the harder I tried to swing, the more stable the shaft would stay, and less side spin would happen which equals better accuracy.

Only takes a couple mins. to install/remove,so it can be used in a bunch of different woods.
A little pricey at first, but once you buy the kit,all you need to purchase is the insert. (Or find a club builder that already has the installation tool)

Great new product!! IMO

Goes inside about 6-8" from the tip and locks in place.

I have a friend and fellow clubmaker close by who is using the Shotmaker, and he's noticed a difference.

Bob will be 80 this coming fall, and is one of the top 5 Senior golfers in our area. He's won the local Amateur tournament about 8-10 times over the last 50+ years. The things he can do with the ball...

Anyways, Bob's been a Harrison dealer for years - as in for years before I met him, which was 10 years ago. I believe he's currently swinging a Hathaway head with a Mugen shaft, and put the Shotmaker in it this spring. Last year, he averaged around 77-78 for 18 holes (imagine AVERAGING better than your age!). Apparently, this year, he's had 9 or 10 sub-75 rounds, and is on pace to average 76 or so. Says it's entirely due to the Shotmaker, as his misses are 5-10 yards closer to his target (his target, mind you, NOT the center of the fairway). He's always been a good ballstriker, but according to him, the Shotmaker just makes it that much easier.

Going to have to get one myself, see if it really is the difference-maker.

sounds interesting. Only problem is for us non-club builders is having to bring it to my local shop to get it installed.

No need t/b a club builder to install it if you get the kit,(which includes the torque screw driver, grip cutter and back weight grip end cap)
It really is very easy, just make sure it'll fit the type of shaft you have.
(Watch the installation video):INSTALLATION

It MUST be a round bore,or the insert won't stay in place.

Also Harrison is in the process of making inserts for .350 type shafts.
