I usually switch to a ladies ball when the temp goes down. I have used the MC lady before but think that I may get some of the IQ 180's and give them a try.

I tried the Wilson Zip last Fall & it worked well - nice feeling golf ball.

I don't switch anymore, I tend to end up with too many different balls at the end of the year, but I used to grab the good ole Noodle, that ball offers a lot for a little money. I might go with the D2 line this year after great success with top flight for the majority of the year.

Any golf ball which you could compress well with the winter golf swing.
Premium golf balls did OK but not to the full expectation, and there are a whole bunch of the other golf balls in between.
I had found the soft ( low compression ) distance golf balls worked well in the cold weather. The other softer golf balls just don't work well.
So look for a golf ball that's advertised as a distance ball with soft core. Wilson Boost X2 is one of that, Noodle plus is another, The 50/50 and ZIP just don't do anything for me, under any playing condition.

Higher compression distance balls.

Titleist NXT are thought to be good for the cold round these parts.

Ill have to give them a try I Used the TP Red today and switched it in and out with a ProvV1 and Cally IX seem to work pretty well if I could only get the ball to the hole Let 4 right on the lip shot 79 temp high 40's

Yeah, leaving 4 right on the lip is clearly a ball issue!! I like the Noodle all year round, FWIW.

wilson 50's are great for all year round for me anyhow.

I was able to get out for 9 holes yesterday - temps in the low 40's.

I switched back & forth between the Wilson 50 & Noodle+. Both of these golf balls played nice in these temps. I hit a couple of very nice length drives & I was surprised at how far I was down the fairway, so no complaints on the driver distance.

On one short par 3 hole with the Wilson 50, I was in between clubs. I picked the shorter iron & decided to hit it hard since the flag was on the front edge of the green. I expected I'd really have to 'nut' one to get it there, but on this green with that pin I would rather be short & chip up. I hit the ball solid & ended up flying it 5 yards past the pin & watched the ball roll out to the back of the green - yikes. My point, my distances were good with the Wilson 50. I would have expected the ball to fly a bit shorter due to the lower temps but that was as far as I hit a premium golf ball during the summer.

Funny thing - it took me a couple holes to realize that the sound / feel was quite a bit different due to the fact that I was wearing a stocking cap & obviously it was covering my ears.
