I am currently building a set or Q2 irons and am looking to add some hybrids to the set. Doesn't seem to be much out there about these two hybrids. Just looking for some experiences with these and plus's or minus's for each. I am currently a 13 handicap and tend to fight the fade with a slice leaking in from time to time. Hit the ball pretty low so a high ball flight would be great. So any advice or reviews of these two would be great. Also any shaft advice (trying to do this on the cheap side) would be appreciated. Thanks for the help.

Link to a review I posted of the Q2 : http://www.freegolfinfo.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=2491171&mpage=1&key=? Q2 is no longer in the bag. I didn't find it very fade resistant and the odd looks were not helping. The Q would definitely be my preference. Conventional looks and weights that can be set to increase draw bias. I imagine that these will set up and play like the TM Dual, possible my all time favourite (and fade resisant) hybrid. Maybe you could also consider the XK hybrid?

Rickochet and I both reviewed the Q2 hybrids in the 08 season. They were simply the easiest-to-hit hybrids I've ever used. I didn't hit them long, but when I needed distance it was easy enough to just club up with them. High ball flight that for me was dead-straight. I used steel shafts (Apollo Hump) in mine. I don't carry them any more either because I didn't care much for the color or the fit/finish. I switched to the xk hybrids now that have a more traditional and pleasing look. The finish on the xk is better. It's not quite as forgiving as the Q2, but the xk is LONG. All good clubs though. I really like Hireko's approach to hybrids, and that's a sweet deal that Par4QC is offering.

Thanks for the link I was trying to do a search but then found out that it isn't working. Thanks for the offer on the hybrids but I will only be needing a 26 hybrid unless I can kick my 7 wood out. Sounds like I might just have to try one of the q2's and q's and see how it goes. I do like the idea of the moveable weights to help make a fade resistant hybrid which I do struggle with. I haven't read much on the XK's how are they in terms of forgiveness and not wanting to go rightness? Also how easy is it to get in the air? The ability of the q2 to get up quick is a very big plus for me.

I hit the xk hybrid pretty high with an FST115 r-flex shaft. It's forgiving and long, and I don't have the rights with it (but natural problem is the snap-hook). It as easy to hit as most hybrids but not as easy to hit or elevate as the Q2. If you don't mind the square look, the Q2 is the way to go.
