What shaft are you using in yours? I managed to re-ho my old DCT 551 12* that I traded nearly a year ago. It hadn't budged from the shop so , well I had to really...it was practically brand new when I traded ti and it looks like it's never left the sales rack. It has a Pershing 75 stiff in it but it's a fairly low launcher so will probably pop it out. I have a few shafts lying around but just curious to see who's using what!

Don't have the 551 but two DCT heads. Have the Pennley ETA 65 S in the 9" head and Enzo zone 70 S in the 10.5*, the 9* combination launched higher than the 10.5* combination.

I'm trying a couple new combo's, but the #1 spot in my bag is a DCT 551 12° with a Grafalloy Comp NT85 in s-flex.

I have the HOF Patriot in my 12* 551 based on Bryant's recommendation and it moved my 919/DVS into the #2 slot. Great feel and perfect trajectory.

I have a 10.5* 551 with a XCON 5 stiff (seems to be soft to flex). I must say this shaft is one smooooth mother, love it! Got it used at a good price! Also have a 12* DCT with a HOF Patriot stiff... this combo is a bit more consistent cause its a little stiffer. The XCON is pricey but it launches higher for me. I had a Red Ice in there before and was really impressed with it... but I like the lower weight of the above mentioned shafts.

I'm on a break from golf at the moment because of a problem with my hands I'm trying to fix but I couldn't resist going to the range today. Hit the 551 and it was really good. The Pershing will probably stay in there, it's a great shaft. Keep it coming though in terms of what you have in yours because I'm sure at some point I'll pop something else into it to see.

GD Throttle in my DCT, so far, not a fan, the shaft feels rather.. umm.. blah? is that a word? I don't know why, I just don't care for it much. If it makes any sense whatsoever, I feel like it is designed to be a thin walled, stiff shaft that lacks any sort of feel. On the other side of things I have a enzo 70x that feels like it has too much meat to it and a VS339 that all of a sudden feels GREAT. I think I am an accuflex fan in general. I like the assassin a lot too. The original EVO, great... I'm starting to see a trend.

I'm with ya, I still love Accuflex's shafts, particularly the VS339s and the Assassins. Good thing I've got 5 or 6 of the Assassins kicking around still - one 57", still in the wrapper.

I've got a Pink Aldila NVS in one, and a SK Fiber Revolution 1 in another. I'm extremely happy with both.
