Sure, it went for 583k or whatever, but you're still stuck with the Silverdome. Granted, it's still kinda cool to own a sports dome.

That place is huge. I've seen the Lions play there, Supercross motocross, monster trucks, even saw Pele play with the New York Cosmos. Haven't been inside Ford Field yet.

I was going to buy it, but then I'd have needed to spend another $105,000 on a proportionately large red bow to put on top, like in the Lexus commercials. I'm not made of money.

From 22 million to under 600k, wow. I hear the owner wants to put indoor soccer in the stadium. Think about it, what a steal. If he/she can get a few concerts/trade shows in there, probably make the 600k and owe nothing.
Thye could also throw some kick aaasss parties!

I knew real estate was in the dumpster in the Motor City...but this is ridiculous. I'm a Lions fan ( I know..I was dropped on my head when I was little). Anyway, where was Donald Trump. This is a long term investment that could be huge, down the road. I do have a photo of my son and his friends standing in the parking lot tailgater for the last home game. They had their back to me and were all giving the good old Silverdome one last middle finger!
