Saw Tiger toss his driver on the 13 th tee today at the Aussie Masters and it ended up going well into the crowd.
Fortunately no-one was injured , but I'm a bit surprised that he still can't find a way of venting his frustration
without risking injury to others.
In an even more puzzling move, Sportsbet paid out on Woods as the winner at the end of the 2nd round.
He was 3 stokes ahead at that stage but he's back to equal leader at this moment.
Makes you wonder how the other players will react to being written off in this manner.

did the fan give the driver back or tell Tiger "you shouldn't have thrown it, it's mine now, bye, bye...???"

I was watching this on TGC last night and he threw it tomahawk style out in front of him, so hard that it must have ricocheted off the ground, and went back left into the crowd. When he went to retrieve it, the driver was literally passed up from several rows deep in the crowd. What an embarrassment this guy is becoming. His close friends need to sit down with him and have a chat.

not surprising in the least but WOW !!!!

Thank goodness a fan was not seriously hurt by this childish tantrum

probably the most classless move on the PGA in recent memory ........worse than Sergio's spitting and Rory storming off on Ben Crane.

tif anything ever has, this definitely warrants a suspension .....sadly however the PGA has no the balls to do it

any word yrt on the apology written by his media relations person??? love to hear it...ooops palms were sweaty

The persons whom had sat down and talked to him about this kind of situation, one had passed away and the other one had been fired.
It showed frustration he's experiencing, and he had gone through this many times in the past.
One other person whom had gone through this was Jack Nicklaus; Time for these two to get together for a long talk if Jack ever wish his records to be broken anytime soon.

As bad, or worse, than any pro behavior that I have ever seen.

What happens when he kills someone or hits a pregnant woman?

For no good reason I was half expecting some sort of defence to be offered by Tiger supporters
but I guess it really was indefensible after all. Maybe it will be a wake-up call to him as an
indication that he really does need to stop this sort of behaviour.
