Local hero Stuart Appleby gave his endorsement to Tiger Woods' $3.25 million JBWere Masters appearance fee - and said there was no reason he could not repay it immediately by winning at Kingston Heath this week.

Appleby said having Woods in the field would provide a massive boost to the game in Australia and the state government's gamble was a good bet....
