Watson shot a 64 today - man that guy is amazing to still be playing at the level that he is at 60 yrs young. I saw about the last 8 holes of his round on TGC and he was just so smooth. He never looks like he forces anything. A great lesson in tempo that.

Great weather great time. The coolest part, watching the field play the 9th hole. its a short par 4 a driver leaves you 60 yd shot uphill to a front pin. many spun the ball off the green and down the hill. Tom Kite and 3 groups later Phil Blackmar both spun the ball off the green and chipped in for birdie from the same spot, with the same club and shot, a 4-iron little chip/putt.

I'm amazed at the talent level and the overall level of competition on that tour. It's a shame they are hurting a little for sponsorship since the caliber of play has never been higher there than it is now. Look how long it took Nick Price to win on that tour and Mark O'Meara still hasn't won.
