Congratulations to Phil Mickelson! After a quad 8 on Thurs. he really showed tremendous fortitude. It's been a tough year for the Mickelson family and this was a great way to end the season for Lefty. He is such a classy gentleman. We followed him around at the Houston Open last year and he seemed genuinely grateful for our support. He would high-five the gallery and signed every autograph after his round, even though he had just shot a 75. I kind of feel sorry for Kenny Perry, though. He's another classy guy, but he needs to figure out how to finish tournaments on Sunday. He should've won the Masters, but couldn't close it out. I'm really looking forward to the President's Cup in a couple of weeks. I love the team events.

I was surprised to see him hammer the field on Sunday after the snowman on Saturday.

Go Phil!

I don't feel bad for Kenny Perry, he really doesn't care very much if he wins or loses. He's sort of the anti-Tiger. He has his life in perspective and knows that win or lose, he's going back to a great life at the end of the day. He's got his priorities in order.

This almost sounds like the sort of thing a Tiger fanboy would post.

Phil has made a living winning non-essential, short field, weak field tourneys. Its his strength. check it out.

Agreed 100%

Oh and I love a Phil win! He is always entertaining with so many birdies, you just never know if he wins until the last hole

Let me get this straight you are saying the Tour Championship is a Easy Low caliber player tourney?

Phil is definitely the most exciting and entertaining golfer on tour to watch.......( not saying he's the best)

as he demonstrated on the weekend any score is possible for him to card.....when he is on his game there is no better when he is not he can make eagles and quads in alternate fashion......fun to watch
