Not sure if the huh is for me...but..I didn't mean to imply that you were incorrect...just that the butt numbers you posted above were not taken with a 454g weight. Isn't that correct?

Here's the best way to take frequency shaft profiles. Basically the same as Dyno explained.

http://www.shaftprofiles.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=1

Until one does this type of research and data.....you can't compare apples to apples. Shot in the dark until you match up players stats. with shaft stats. JMO.

Just reiterating Aaron. Too much misinformation on this site lately.

OK - Didn't want anyone to be confused. Profiling can be confusing enough.

yes, anyone can see the data on shaftprofiles.com but I think you have to register on the site and then when you're logged in the link for shaft profile data shows up.

VG2 you are exactly right in what you are saying. You are talking about butt frequency and this is taken with a 205g weight. The 41" beam length freq. using a 454g weight should not be labeled with any form of the word "butt". I think maybe this is where the confusion is coming in. Its simply the 41" freq. number, one of the seven data points in the profile. Often, shafts are 46" in raw length, but not always. The butt freq. is not taken with a 454g weight, only the 41" beam length measurement.
