Being the ho that I am even though alot les these days I really like the look of the new Taylor Made CGB Triangle driver but refused to pay the piper $499 so I did the next best thing and purchased the T7 MOI Max driver with extra weights and wrench from Bryant at Myclubmaker.

I squeezed in 18 today, 70* overcast day with a 2-3 club wind which made for some intersting golf.

I had Bryant hand pick the head to be 9.5* with no more than .5* closed FA.

In a nutshell this driver impressed me for feel, sound, ball flight(I would say true to loft), distance and forgivness on off center hits. It's built to 45" shafted with an AccuFLEX Original ICON R flex. Swingweight is D4, head weighting is set up neutral, the color outside with the black edges looks great too.

Looking forard to hitting this again after I get back from NY and hopefully with less wind.

Looks even better in person. If it had the smoked chrome face/sole like the TM has it would be even better.

I actually like the Burgundy with the black edges vs the all black. Something tells me the all black head will have that "hard" feel to it as well.

Where does it rate in terms of distance/ballspeed? Is it competitive with some of the hotter heads out there?

In a word yes, can't speak for ball speed since I have no way to measure it. That question needs to be handled by Bryant

As far as distance is concerned this combo for me is as long as other drivers I've owned and that has been just a few to say the least
