Actually depending upon who teams up with Daly on writing the book, most might find it a good read. I have seen several shows with Daly, Playing lesson's with the Pro's, etc. And when he talks golf, he is very knowledgeable and conveys the information in terms most people will understand. It surprised me, I was expecting less or a mimic of some instructor's popular flavor of the month.
Regarding his WDs, if you haven't seen it, you might be surprised that the PGA does require and does review the reason for WD, most have the fitness trailer provide the PGA with a write up. This was news to me. So they just can't WD without having a penalty of sort.

Well at +11 and tied for 116th he better take up a career of book writing. I like John but I think his best golf is behind him.

Don't knock it. Every "diet pepsi" they drink allows them to gobble up another chocolate bar .
