I'm looking for an indoor putting green and I need a recommendation. The wife's given me permission to spend up @ $300 and this one caught my eye.

She gave you permission to spend $300 and you are looking at spending only $200??

What's wrong with you!!!

BTW . . . Nice looking green. Need some extra space for that Bad boy.

I have a Big Moss putting green which is pretty nice. Got a lot of use for a few weeks and is currently rolled up in a closet Nice green but just too big and cumbersome to move around. Didn't really do much to improve my putting, either.

I got a Boomerang after reading about it on FGI. I have to say this thing is awesome!! It has really improved my putting. After using it for a couple of weeks went out to the course and had a 26 putt round!!

Get a Boomerang for $40 and spend the rest on some new clubs.

I have an indoor putting green. My kids call it a playroom.

Lol, me too. I use a couple of those round rubber things you use to open jars. They're just the right size. I just throw them in different spots around the floor of my family room. The carpet's a nice speed and its definitely good enough for winter practice. Works for 20 footers and is especially great for 3 and 4 footers - I know if the putt was good and I don't have to bend over to pick them up, just walk around the other side and hit them again. Lucky me, the floor even has some mild breaks in it!!!

My advice is to buy three of these for $5.00, spend $150 on your wife and take the other $145.00 to the casino. Win, win, win situation.

If you are dead set on an indoor green then Big Moss is the way to go.

Heres a picture of what happened to my boomerang

My brother decided to leave it in his back windshield of his car when he borrowed it. Didn't make me too happy, considering it was the same boomerang I used to break the record. Just bought another one from someone on the forums. Although I hear that they are working on a new 2007 model of the boomerang, so maybe you can wait for that one to come out.

I still like the Boomerang. Big moss looks cool also.

I have a boomerang as well and I use it religously (200 putts on it already today), but I would like something that allows me to work on breaking putts and that's why I was looking at the PuttGolf. Also, when I use the Boomerang too much, I tend to start hitting my putts too far past the hole.

DOrn,
A friend has this unit and is still using it. The ability to adjust breaks and inclines makes this green a winner hands down.
You must be prepared to lose some room in the basement. That thing is not small.
