Are the 983 being replaced by a new model as all of the shops around here are discounting them which is normally the first sign of a new model.

The tour has been playing with the new Titleist driver for a long time now.

It's part carbon fibre. They did a write up in golf world about it.

Wow. Did not know that. Maybe I have my years off, but isnt the 983 still "new" by Titleist standards?

The new model that Titleist are looking to introduce are the 905 models (I think T is one of the model names)
Basically its like a bigger K with a deeper face. The ones that they are testing on Tour are all titanium.
I don't think there is a graphite crown one coming out though.

Titleist will definately have a new model to be revealed at Orlando PGA Show in January and soon to appear in my bag in February WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO !!!!
