Back in February 2012, I was hit by a drunk driver and sustain several injuries, one of which was a torn rotator cuff. It did not bother me until about two weeks ago. After an MRI of my left shoulder, I found out that I have a one inch tear in my rotator cuff. I will have to have surgery, probably in early to mid June. I live in Saint Augustine, Florida and have an orthopedic surgeon recommended by my attorney.
However, after some detailed research on the internet, I found Dr. Kevin Kaplan in Jacksonville, Florida who is a sports medicine surgeon and is listed with the Jacksonville Jaguars team. Dr. Kaplan has a new procedure to repair the rotator cuff.
Has anyone had or know of anyone who has had surgery done by Dr. Kaplan?
After talking to my attorney, I convinced him to let me a second opinion from Dr. Kaplan.
