YIKES - ...if daddy and mommy really said that stuff, we now know why he acts like a spoiled 12 year old!

and lets not forget about all the drunk foul mouthed idiots on most golf courses these days. I'm sure that hasnt changed much in the gentlemens game. all the gentlemen womanizers as well, cant exclude them from the "gentlemens" game. its funny how we judge others and by whos standards ?

Gandhi.

Was anyone else rooting for Stetson to throw stuff through the woods on Thursday on #18 at Augusta while he was making a quad? [:D]

Stetson, Perez, Sergio, and Woods all come to mind. I love seeing the pros get mad, makes me feel better as I tend to be a grumpy golfer. Woody Austin a couple years ago in the Carolinas?? was hilarious too [sm=rofl.gif]

pat perez

Woods can be quite a brat when he's playing poorly. He's not the only one, and yes, the TV shows him more than anybody else, so we see more of his outbursts. But as the best player out there for a number of years, he is held to a higher standard for sportsmanship and grace -- the Arnie and Jack standard. Tom Watson (never my favorite for some reason) and Greg Norman managed to present themselves well, but Woods doesn't. Until recently, he was never gracious in defeat -- now he seems a little more resigned to not winning every time, so he's actually a little more likable when he hasn't won. But his outbursts are more frequent than we've become accustomed to from Arnie, Jack and Tom Watson.

"Tiger will do more than any other man in history to change the course of humanity. … He is the Chosen One. He'll have the power to impact nations. Not people. Nations."—Earl Woods, Tiger's father

He can hold everyone together. He is the Universal Child."—Kultida Woods, Tiger's mother

Oh, here we go... another go 'round the mulberry bush...
Who's gonna be the first to blame Tiger for what his Daddy and Mommy said.

Oh, and on the infamous Daddy Earl, I believe it's already documented that he took Tiger to his first strip clubs... Nice!

I don't blame Eldrick the person for anything. I just think he's an an unlikeable jerk. [:)]

it however does provide some insight and understanding as to why he is such a narcissist though.

It is very sad and you kinda have to feel just a bit sorry for him having parents that would be so unrealistic as to make such grandiose and dillusional statements.

according to Eldrick's parents he ranks right behind Jesus and ahead of Mother Teresa , Ghandi, Nelson Mandella etc

talk about setting the bar too high and setting your child up for failure ( not golf ) but as a human being. They should bear the full brunt of the blame IMHO

John Daly... I like the guy and he may sign more autographs than Tiger but his attitude is garbage..

Very well stated and a thoughtful insight.
